Copper Ridge Cattle Company has been a fun client to work with. The client has plenty of photos and gave me a clear idea what she was looking for.<\/p>\n

The project was completed on time and cost less than the client expected.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Crane Automotive is an auto maintenance and repair shop in Henderson County, NC. I researched and wrote the copy, then used photos from the owner’s Facebook page to put together a quick, inexpensive site that meets his needs. I also added the business to Google Maps.<\/p>\n

This blog uses the Faith Theme by ilovewp with CSS modifications.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Dana Fancy Foods is a 50-year-old family business here in Hendersonville, North Carolina.<\/p>\n

They wanted a site that would be easy to work with. They will be adding products themselves.<\/p>\n

Jessica developed a site for them in WordPress using the ShopIsle Theme. She set up WooCommerce with Categories, Tags and Attributes. She set up the taxes, shipping, payments and emails. Jessica put in the first products and added a coupon for the store owner to use as templates.<\/p>\n

She also set up a simple contact form using WPForms.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Greetings from the Past is a WordPress blog and ecommerce website. This nanobusiness uses open source web software to create a beautiful website! Currently the site is using Storefront Theme with WooCommerce, the most commonly used free eCommerce plugin.<\/p>\n

The client was already selling successfully on eBay. She was able to have her on-line store up and running in just a few hours.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Energy Services is a WordPress website using SiteOrigin’s Vantage Theme and Page Builder. The client already has a successful business, but wanted to add a simple web presence and a contact form.<\/p>\n

I researched and wrote the copy, then the client made it accurately represent his business, since I was pretty much guessing.<\/p>\n

This site was completed in just a few hours.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Holistic Elder Services Geriatric Care Management specializes in assisting older people and their families with long-term care arrangements to save families time, anxiety and money.<\/p>\n

This client was very organized. At our first meeting she gave us clear instructions. She delivered all of the copy right away. I was referred by a local printer and I followed their lead on colors and images. The site is developed with a specific target audience in mind and I believe the client has hit her mark.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Horse Tales Ranch new website got off to a slow start. They had two websites and nobody knew the passwords or even the email address to regain control over them.<\/p>\n

design<\/em>42<\/strong> started with the information on the two websites, but they were not complete and even contradicted each other. We looked at what was written for similar businesses and wrote new content based on our best guess. Then we went over every word to be sure it was accurate before the site went live.<\/p>\n

The client emailed us some photos and we were able to find more on their Facebook page.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Site uses FlexSlider, an open source fully responsive jQuery slider, customized for this site.
\nThe site encourages Facebook Shares and Likes and has a script to encourage Pinterest Pinning whenever a visitor hovers over an image.<\/p>\n

It has a PDF library, plenty of information and makes contact straightforward.<\/p>\n

The client makes his own videos of projects, which I link into the site.<\/p>\n

The client has been extremely happy with this site. The site was designed to use as a sales tool with clients, making it easy to email links to PDF documents to architects and homeowner. The site has also generated qualified sales leads, more than paying for the cost of development.<\/p>\n

The project also included a complete collateral package to support sales, support and tradeshow presence.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Lesley Rohe is a real estate broker. Although the real estate company she works with provides her with a website, she wanted to make it easier for potential clients to find her.<\/p>\n

Lesley wrote excellent copy and provided really high quality photos. We put it together with the Sela WordPress Theme. Her site was completed quickly and on budget.<\/p>\n

The site provides all the information a prospective client needs to choose her as your buyer’s agent or to sell your home. There are client reviews, imbedded video and links to the MLS.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Most books that are easy to read are written for very young children.<\/p>\n

My Easy Read Books is a website for books that are easy to read, but written for older readers, especially young adults. The books are “written on a high interest level with a lower reading level in order to strengthen reading fluency.”<\/p>\n

design<\/em>42<\/strong> had worked with the writer on other projects. She gave us the photo she wanted to use and very clear instructions on what she wanted the site to look like.<\/p>\n

She achieved a clean, professional looking site that appeals to educators and readers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

design<\/em>42<\/strong> took over the website for the Transylvania County Arts Council in Brevard, NC. We had earlier helped one of the artists with his personal WordPress site. The Arts Council wanted a new site that would be easy for the volunteers to maintain and update themselves.<\/p>\n

We designed a site that is easy to work with. The Artist pages use WordPress Posts with a simple navigation using Categories and Tags.<\/p>\n

Each artist wrote their own page and delivered the photography they wanted to include. Eventually design<\/em>42<\/strong> wrote the rest of the copy. We had whichever volunteer we were currently working with proofread it for accuracy before the site went live.<\/p>\n

The part of the project that was the most difficult and took the most time was retrieving ownership of the domain name for the Arts Council. It had been registered in the name of the previous web designer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
