Monday morning, the car rental company came to pick me up with the new car. I thought it would be a huge deal, but it just wasn\u2019t. Good thing I had bought the extra insurance!

With a GPS, I had no trouble finding my way through Dublin, along the coast and down to Dungarvan!<\/p><\/div>\n

\nFrom the GPS, I can tell I was driving West on N7, Naas Rd. near Newlands Golf Club.<\/p>\n

So, here I am, driving south toward Dungarvan. I had all day and a GPS, so I just meandered along exploring everything.<\/p>\n

There are ruins and things everywhere. But, there are walls on the sides of the road, so there is no way to pull over.<\/p>\n

There really are castles and tower houses abandoned everywhere!<\/p>\n

It was a beautiful drive to Windgap, near Dungarvan. Windgap overlooks the estuary of the River Brickey, the Cunnigar, a 2 mile sandbar at the mouth of Dungarvan Bay, across to the lighthouse on Ballinacourty Point.<\/p>\n
