The Ardaghmore Guest House was built as a private home in the late 1800s. It is extremely comfortable and clean. The location is on the Causeway Coastal Route, ideal for visiting Giant’s Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Dunluce Castle.

Ardaghmore Guest House is on Quay Hill in Ballycastle, with a view across the ocean all the way over to Rathlin Island and Fair Head. I am told I was also seeing Scotland.\u00a0 I could look down toward the harbor and kids on the beach and a park.<\/p>\n

Directly across from Ardaghmore Guest House is the Marconi Monument. The first commercial wireless telegraph transmission was made between Ballycastle and the East Lighthouse on Rathlin Island.<\/p>\n

Ardaghmore Guest House has kept the Victorian historic architecture, but the house has been maintained and carefully improved. I really appreciated hot, hot water and central heating! I will never take it for granted again!<\/p>\n

The house is popular. My hostess, Genevieve McLernon, apologized that the only room available was smaller, in the back of the house. I loved it! I could not see the water, but the mountains are beautiful! It was cozy, clean and comfortable. The bed was wonderful.<\/p>\n

I had my own bathroom.<\/p>\n

Any time I wanted, I could make a pot of tea. There were public rooms. The lounge had a fire. But, \u00a0I had tea snuggled up in my cosy room. Genevieve gave me some decorating magazines to read. When I went home she let me keep them. She really made my stay comfortable.<\/p>\n
