What will it really cost to have a website?

We charge $45.00 per hour.
We bill in 15 minute increments with no minimum. That means if it takes 15 minutes to do something, we will bill you $11.25. We will want a deposit to get started. We track work by how long it takes to do things.

The deposit is based on how many tasks you want us to do.
We will give you an estimate and stand by it.

We build it: We can install whatever Theme you choose and customize it with your copy, photos and custom menu. Depending on the Theme you choose, this can be completed in 8 hours or less. We require a $360.00 deposit. We will return whatever is left over.

Just let us know how much you want to do and how much you want us to do.

Set up an on-line store

Zen Cart is a free open-source shopping cart system. It is very user-friendly.

WordPress is free open-source web-based software you can use to create an eCommerce website. Free and not-so-free Themes and Plugins allow you to run a complete shopping cart on-line store. WooCommerce is the most commonly used free eCommerce plugin. It now powers 30% of all online stores.

Both choices can be completely customized. Both have shipping and payment method gateways available. Both allow you to sell physical and digital goods. Both allow you to control taxes, stock levels and customer accounts.

We charge $45.00 an hour. The time this takes is up to you. It depends on how much of the work you do yourself. Entering the products is the time consuming part. If you can sell on eBay, you can sell in your own on-line store.

Set up custom email addresses

Even if your business does not have a website yet, using your business name as your email address gives your business a more professional look. You can use a number of email addresses, for example sales@yoursite.com, customerservice@yoursite.com or accountspayable@yoursite.com. Each email address may either have a separate mail box, or you may forward them to a single account. Using Outlook or another email program, you can collect email from all of the accounts and then select which account to send from when you send or reply to email.

It takes about half an hour to register your domain name and set up your email addresses.
If you give us all the addresses and the passwords you want clearly, it will cost $22.50 for the time to set up the accounts (plus the cost of domain registration and hosting.)

We will send you a link to webmail to collect your email on-line and a PDF with basic instructions to set up your new email on your phone or using Outlook. If you need additional help setting this up, we will charge for the time it takes to help you get it set up.
